Simple Steps to Wellbeing

The Five Ways to Wellbeing are a set of evidence-based actions which promote people’s wellbeing. They are: Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give. These activities are simple things individuals can do in their everyday lives.

Accepting yourself, being comfortable with your identity, having a purpose and a meaning and having spirituality all help with a healthy mind.

Choosing a healthier life style by having healthy diet, adequate sleep and moderating the intake of stimulants like coffee all helps to maintain a healthier mind. So does balancing work and life.

Anyone can make simple changes that have a huge impact on their mental health and wellbeing. Mental health foundation has come up with ten practical ways to take care of yourself and get the most from life.
